Norma uses a lot of first person singular nouns in her dialogue — I, me, etc. This reveals her narcissism, and you can argue that this is

• a product of her upbringing in the Hollywood limelight, or
• herself as a flawed character, etc.

Normally I wouldn’t analyse language like this in a thematic analysis. It is more of a language/argument/persuasive analysis thing, but given it links to the theme of pride, I think it’s a valid piece of evidence to point out.
